CHILD LABOR
Wrap Around Cape Town and our suppliers strictly prohibit the use of underage labor, which is defined as anyone under the age of 16. Additionally, teens aged 16-18 are not allowed to work during night hours or in hazardous conditions to ensure their safety and well.
FORCED LABOR
Wrap Around Cape Town is committed to ethical practices, ensuring that our suppliers do not engage in any form of forced or involuntary labor, including prison, bonded, or indentured labor. We believe in fair labor conditions and supporting the rights of all workers. Our dedication to these principles helps create a sustainable and responsible supply chain. We expect our suppliers to uphold these values and strictly prohibit any form corporal punishment, threats of violence, or harassment—whether physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal. Wrap Around Cape Town and our suppliers will respect all employees’ rights to associate, organize and bargain collectively in a lawful and peaceful manner.
FAIR WAGES
Fair wages are crucial for meeting employees' basic needs. Suppliers must comply with wage and hour laws, including minimum wages and overtime, while also providing legally mandated benefits. Employees are entitled to at least 24 consecutive hours off every seven days, barring exceptional circumstances.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Wrap Around Cape Town mandates suppliers to maintain a healthy and safe working environment by following safety laws and regulations, including building and fire safety. Regular emergency evacuation training and inspections are required to keep emergency exits clear and ensure operational fire extinguishers. Employees must have access to clean drinking water, sanitary facilities, and adequate lighting and ventilation, with the same health and safety standards applied to any housing provided for them.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Wrap Around Cape Town is dedicated to minimizing the environmental impact of our products and operations. Our aim is to create a positive net effect on the environment. We require all our suppliers to comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations.

ANIMAL WELFARE
Wrap Around Cape Town and its suppliers must follow principles and regulations to ensure ethical and compassionate treatment of animals in their supply chain.
ANTI-BRIBERY; CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Wrap Around Cape Town prohibits any form of compensation or consideration from suppliers, including gifts, discounts, services, loans, or payments. This policy applies to employees, affiliates, agents, service providers, government officials, and testing laboratories involved with Wrap Around Cape Town products.
LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Wrap Around Cape Town and its suppliers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those applicable to subcontractors. The Code of Social Responsibility encompasses local and national laws, treaties, and industry standards, with the highest standard prevailing in case of conflict.
SUBCONTRACTING
Suppliers bear complete responsibility for the deeds of their subcontractors.
RECORD-KEEPING
Suppliers are required to maintain accurate records on-site to demonstrate their adherence to this Code of Conduct.
MONITORING AND COMPLIANCE
All suppliers must sign this Code of Conduct, allowing Wrap Around Cape Town and its agents to conduct audits and monitoring for compliance. This may include unannounced site inspections of manufacturing facilities and accommodations, reviews of employment-related financial documents, and confidential employee discussions.
